When introducing children to fishing, it is very important to keep them engaged. To do this we limit our trips to a total of 3 hours (including commute time). We provide longer trips for older kids upon request. We fish 3 primary locations, Braddock Bay, Long Pond, and Pal-Mac. These spots provide enough shoreline for our groups to have personal space and cast safely, shallow shorelines, good populations of Perch and Sunfish, which increases our chances of catching fish, and trash cans for us to easily clean up after ourselves.

Braddock Bay

Braddock is a shallow bay that connects to Lake Ontario. This is a terrific location for beginners, with a pier extending a few feet beyond the shoreline allowing further cast. We go here to catch Perch and Largemouth Bass. Pike, Blue Gill, and Catfish are also found here.

Long Pond

Long pond is a shallow pond, fed by Lake Ontario, and found along Edgemere Drive. A popular spot for fisherman to catch Perch, and has a long shoreline providing plenty room for large crowds. We come here to catch Perch, White Perch and Walleye. Catfish, Carp, Sunfish, and Bass are also found here.
